About Ice Badger

I bid you welcome

Read and be inspired to think

At least read and smile

As the dubious Haiku of welcome says welcome and I hope this blog will make you think, you may agree, you may not, but if you think about it for a tiny moment, I have achieved my goal. The Subject and even the theme of this blog is fairly hard to define as I am mostly concerned with the nature of the things I have recently been thinking about.

As this is the “about Ice Badger” page, I will tell you a little bit about myself:

I am (in no particular order):

  • Photographer (of everything)
  • Artist (of sorts)
  • Writer (of dubious Haikus and blogs)
  • Morris Dancer (of the border tradition)
  • Thinker (of too many thoughts)
  • Wearer of Hats (of all sorts)
  • Obsessive (about too many things)
  • Baker (of baked goods)
  • Maker of lists (obviously :-p)

So at the end of this list what do you know…nothing more than that I like to do a lot of things. All these things do in some way from part of who I am, everyone is to a greater or lesser extent defined by the things that they do. In slightly more detail:

As a photographer, I like to take pictures that people want to see, but more than that, I like to take pictures of unexpected subjects and make people want to see them!

As a baker I like to bake the best things that people have ever eaten, I am not sure I always succeed…but it is something to aspire to.

As a morris dancer I wear a mask and tatters and wave a stick about

As for the rest, you’ll have to read the blog to find out…
